
TYNESIDE PAC RULES
Definition
Tyneside PAC is two or more members. Failure to secure this number the club products, boat, books etc will be sold off and the proceeds to go to the ACA.
1. Tyneside PAC meetings will be held monthly, on the second Tuesday of each month, unless stated otherwise.
2. Annual General Meeting will be held in February each year, on the second Tuesday.
3. The Presentation Night for the issue of trophies, will be held in January each year, on the second Tuesday.
4. All match series and trophy qualifications will run from the 1st January to the 31st December each year. The committee’s decision will be final on any awards given.
5. At the Annual General meeting, a trophy will be awarded to the member catching the largest fish of the previous year, whether from a Tyneside PAC match or while pleasure fishing. If a member then rejoins both National and Tyneside PAC in the year following the capture of the largest fish they will also be presented with the club annual shield to hold until December following the AGM. The shield must then be returned to the Regional Organiser/s.
6. Members must be fully paid up of both National and Tyneside PAC before they can partake in any match or submit any fish claim for qualification towards trophies. Guests may occasionally fish with members, although their fish will not count towards anything even if at a later date they join Tyneside PAC.
7. The Tyneside PAC reserves the right to refuse membership of the Region.
8. All National PAC rules will be followed and enforced.
9. Members must uphold the good name of the PAC at all times.
10. All pike caught must be returned to the water alive and from which they came.
11. Members failing in respect of the above or are guilty of serious misconduct may be expelled from the Tyneside PAC if a majority of members at a normal monthly meeting vote as such.
12. To be a member of Tyneside PAC they must also be part of the National PAC.
13. When submitting a claim for the largest fish of the year, the captor must name the true venue from where it came and within a reasonable time to an RO or club record keeper. In addition to this they must also produce a photo or a written eyewitness verification.
14. Election of Regional Organisers, Assistant Regional Organisers or any other position, can be from any Tyneside PAC member with more than 12 months previous membership. Intention to stand for election is to be announced at a meeting prior to the AGM. Election will be decided by a majority vote at the AGM.
